This is beautiful. I am not alone but thoroughly appreciate alone time.

Papier Mache Tree
I know that it is probably easier to plant a tree and watch it grow than trying to make a tall papier mache tree. Well, not me. I am making a tree to go in my library and I'll post pictures of each completed stage. Today I spent time in the glorious sunshine making a mess with paper and paste - almost finished the basic form of the roots and base of the tree. It has taken weeks to get to this stage but slow and steady wins the race.
It is really important that I do something creative each day - helps keep me sane. So do hugs from the Princess and Dear Heart.

The Flower Fairy
The Flower Fairy struck at work again today ... hehehehehehehehe ... I think she is finding it harder to sneak bunches of flowers in and not get caught! People suspect me but I deny that I know who it is - far more fun that way :-)
I think doing random acts of kindness, where there are no expectations of reward or recognition, are great ways to brighten up your own day. I perform RAKs because they make me feel good. RAKs also send positive ripples of kindness flowing into the universe - what a fantastic bonus!
Why not try doing a RAK today?

Stainless Steel Water Bottle
Water - an essential part of our wellbeing and it is recommended that we have 8 glasses a day. I think I have been failing this for some time. Oh OK ... I have pure diet coke running through my veins!!!!! Tired of the constant nagging of my Dear Heart and the sneaking suspicion that diet coke really isn't that good for me I am diving head first into water. Not wanting to drink from a plastic bottle I purchased a groovy 750ml stainless steel water bottle which has been filled with water (not diet coke) and which I am almost finished ... and strangely I feel quite refreshed.
